You need a sense of humour to work here at the Swan Inn. Someone once told Mark (the Boss) that he was funny and he's never let anyone forget it. He should be in the theatre, but has chosen instead to lead our boisterous team from his "stage" behind the bar.
Backed up by his new Deputy Saul and our fabulous number three, Holly (who has one hell of a job keeping her boys in line!); the management team are totally committed to giving you a great time with a smattering of fun thrown in for good measure.
Mark or 'Bungle' to his mates, has been with us since we started up in 2002 and has worked his way through the ranks to Head Chef. He's a great guy, loved by all who know him and very conveniently a fantastic chef to boot. He thrives on our more relaxed way of doing things and creates some fabulous, earthy food. His talented team deliver simple, stylish yet unfussy dishes, all cooked with love.
Add to this, the crew out front; who do a stirling job of looking after our lovely customers and you'll understand why we get so many compliments about them. Young, but with a maturity beyond their years, they are keen as mustard when it comes to great service. They love the fact that they get to work in a great pub, which also happens to do fab food. Staff meals were never so good!
